  The fourth member of the dynamic leadership team of MGBS is Nastasia Botha, a qualified real estate agent who has gained valuable experience in the communications and insurance arenas. Nastasia is developing the business tourism arm of the business.

She has also learned that there is great value in listening to people and asking questions. Where many would argue that there is no place for emotion in the business world, Nastasia recognises that part of being human is having emotions, and that happy employees work far more effectively and efficiently.

 With a passionate and capable team of women committed to building the business Myrna is confident of success.

Nastasia believes that while a woman may be a weaker vessel in the physical sense it does not mean that she has a weaker soul. “The strength that a woman has to persevere and excel in every situation that comes her way is one of the reasons that women are able to take on so much and, with their motherly instincts, nurture and grow any potential idea into a great and successful business,” she notes.

Also committed to the growth of others, Nastasia has had to learn in leadership to allow people room to grow. “I have had to learn to allow my employees to use their initiative and skills, which are of course why they were employed in the first place,” she says. “Just as I am sharpening my skills, they too need to sharpen theirs.”
